Who is HeMed for?
HeMed is for men in the UK who want clinician-led weight management built on their own numbers from day one. Many have tried plans before. Eligibility is always a clinical decision, made after your blood test and health review: adults with a BMI of 30 or over, or 27 or over alongside a weight-related health condition, may be considered.
Treatment is not suitable in pregnancy or when trying to conceive, under 18, or with certain medical histories. The clinician screens for these. If your blood test shows the plan isn’t suitable for you, we explain why and refund your first payment in full.

Qualified in London in 2000. Formerly Medical Director at Babylon Health, where he helped set up digital primary care in the UK. He has led one of the country’s largest NHS practices. Clinical interests: obesity medicine, heart health and metabolic health.
